Your code, links and how people are counted as yours

How your referral code and links work, how long a click is remembered, which partner gets the credit, how channels (WhatsApp, Facebook…) are tracked, and what to do when someone you sent is not showing.

Your referral code (like NSDP-7KQ4M2) is how NSDP knows someone came through you. Every link, QR code, design and template in the portal already carries it, so you never need to type it yourself.

Four ways someone is counted as yours

  1. Step 1: They open your link

Any NSDP website or course link with ?ref= and your code. The visit is remembered for 30 days, so they can sign up later.

  2. Step 2: They scan your QR code

From a poster, flyer, business card or design. It opens your link.

  3. Step 3: They type your code

In the Referral code box when they register. Useful when someone heard about NSDP from you in person.

  4. Step 4: They use your coupon

If NSDP has given you a personal coupon, purchases with it are credited to you.

Who gets the credit

  • If someone opened more than one partner's link before signing up, the most recent link before they sign up wins.
  • Once someone signs up through you, it is saved on their account and they are linked to you permanently: as a student, every course they buy earns you 10%; as a partner, instructor or campus, you earn 1% of their course sales for 12 months.
  • A student who signed up through you stays yours: another partner's link or coupon later on does not move them (a coupon still gives its discount).
  • Your own account never counts as your referral.

Channel tracking: which platform works best

Links you share with the portal's share buttons or Copy for chips carry the channel, for example &ch=whatsapp or &ch=facebook. Analytics then shows visits, sign-ups and paid students per channel, so you know where to spend your time.

Can I change my code?

No. Your code stays the same so that every link and poster you have shared keeps working.

Can I link to any page of the NSDP website?

Yes. Add ?ref= and your code to any NSDP page. The ready links in Promote already do this for every course.
