Many people come to NSDP through an invitation link shared by an NSDP affiliate partner. The link carries the partner's code. If you sign up after opening it, that partner is saved on your account as the partner who brought you, for good.
Joining through an invitation link
Step 1: Open the link you were sent
The visit is remembered in that browser or phone, so you can sign up later on the same device.
Step 2: Create your account
Use the same browser or phone where you opened the link. If you opened links from more than one partner, the most recent one before you sign up counts.
Step 3: That partner is now your partner
It is saved on your account. Your course fees stay the same.
Your partner is permanent
- Once a partner is on one of your accounts, it is never replaced. Another partner's link later on is ignored.
- Another partner's coupon still gives you its discount, but it does not change who your partner is.
- If you joined with no partner and later buy using a partner's link or coupon, that partner becomes your permanent partner from then on.
- Every new account you add later (student, instructor, partner or campus) carries the same partner automatically.
Join links: adding an instructor or partner panel
You do not need a new email to take on another role. The Join pages add a new panel to the login you already have.
| Link | What it adds | Who can use it |
|---|---|---|
/account/join/instructor | An instructor panel, after a short form and the instructor agreement | Signed-in students, instructors, campuses and partners |
/account/join/affiliate | A partner panel, after a short form and the partner agreement. Your partner code is issued at once | Signed-in students, instructors, campuses and partners |
- If you are not signed in, the link asks you to sign in first and then brings you back.
- Your email and password stay the same. The new panel opens straight after the form, and you switch between panels from the top bar.
- Joining is free.
- Becoming a student needs no form: it is done in one tap from the panels menu.
- The new panel keeps the partner who brought you, if you have one.
The invitation bonus course
Students whose account was made through an invitation may get one free bonus course after completing their first course, while NSDP offers the bonus. The details are in its own guide.
For partners: what this means for you
- Someone who signs up through your link stays yours for good, as a student and in any role they add later.
- What you earn from each case is explained in How commission works.
- Your own sign-ups and purchases never count as your referrals.
