New students apply to NSDP on the NSDP website (nsdp.pk, Apply or Start registration). The application creates your NSDP account: the same email and password then work on the NSDP portal, where you study. The website shows your progress as numbered steps, and if you leave, you continue from the same step when you sign in again.

Step 2: Open the link
Open it on this or any device. The application page moves on by itself.
Step 3: Link expired or not received?

Step 3: the entry test
- The test opens once your email is verified. It is online, on the website.
- 6 multiple-choice questions in 10 minutes. You need 5 correct to pass.
- You can move between questions and change an answer until you submit or the time runs out.
- Your answers are saved as you go, and the timer keeps running if you refresh the page.
- Unanswered questions count as wrong. When the time is up, the answers saved in time are graded.
Your test result
- PassedYou are approved for admission. Continue to choose your courses.
- Not passedYour application stops at the result step. Only NSDP can allow a retake (see below).
If you do not pass the entry test
Contact NSDP support and ask for your result to be reviewed. NSDP can allow one new attempt. You are informed by email; then sign in again and choose Start approved retake on the result page. The new test is a fresh, timed attempt.
Step 4: choose your courses

Step 5: fee and enrolment

Step 2: Pay it

Step 3: Pay before the PSID expires
The page shows the date to pay by. After that, generate a new PSID and do not pay the old one.
Step 4: You are enrolled
Your enrolment is confirmed as soon as the payment is received. Sign in to the NSDP portal with the same email and password to start learning.

Questions
I started my application earlier. Do I start again?
No. Sign in on the website with the same email and password, and you continue from the step you reached.
Can I sign up on the NSDP portal directly instead?
The portal also has a student sign-up page. The website's application is the full admission process, with the entry test and course selection; its account works on the portal too.
Do I need a separate password for the portal?
No. The NSDP website and the NSDP portal share one account and one password. If you change or reset it on one, use the new password on both.
I did not get the verification email.
Check your spam, junk or promotions folder. If it is not there, send the link again. If it still does not arrive, contact the helpline with your registered email address.
