Students in your in-person batches can earn a certificate for the batch when their attendance reaches the programme's minimum. The Certificates page shows every certificate issued for your batches and, batch by batch, who is eligible.
The figures at the top
| Figure | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Batches with certificates | Your in-person batches whose programme awards certificates, out of all your in-person batches. |
| Certificates issued | Valid certificates, which verify as valid. |
| Revoked | Certificates you or NSDP withdrew; they verify as withdrawn. |
| Awaiting issue | Eligible students without a valid certificate in the batch selected on the Eligible tab. |
The two tabs
- Issued: every certificate issued for your batches, with the student, certificate number, programme and batch, attendance, issue date and status. Search by student, certificate number or programme, or pick a batch. View opens a valid certificate; Download saves it as a PNG image.
- Eligible: pick a batch to see each student's attendance (classes attended out of the batch's scheduled classes), whether they have reached the minimum, and their certificate. The batch header shows the minimum and when certificates are issued, and whether the batch has ended or was closed.
How eligibility is counted
Attendance is the number of sessions a student is marked Present divided by all of the batch's scheduled sessions (cancelled sessions are left out). Because the whole timetable is counted, a student's percentage only goes up as more sessions are marked. Left early and Checked in do not count as Present for certificates.
Example: a batch of 24 scheduled classes with a 75% minimum needs 18 classes marked Present. In the Eligible list the bar turns green once a student passes the minimum line, and Eligible reads Yes instead of Not yet.
When certificates go out
| The programme is set to | What happens |
|---|---|
| Issued when the batch ends | Certificates are issued automatically when the batch is marked completed, when its last class is marked, or when attendance is saved after its end date. You can also close the batch at any time. |
| Issued when the batch is closed | Nothing is issued until the batch is closed by you or NSDP (or by the batch's teacher). |
Close a batch and issue certificates
Step 1: Open Certificates → Eligible and choose the batch
Sign in to open this screenStep 2: Check the register
Make sure attendance for every session has been marked and saved. Missing marks lower a student's percentage.
Step 3: Choose Close batch & issue
Confirm in the dialog. Every student who has reached the minimum gets a certificate. Students who already have one are not given a second, and revoked certificates stay revoked.
Step 4: Later marks
After closing, the batch shows Closed for certificates on … and the button reads Issue to eligible. Attendance saved after closing also issues certificates to students who newly reach the minimum; the button does the same on demand.
One student at a time
- Issue: for an eligible student who has no certificate yet.
- Re-issue: for an eligible student whose certificate was revoked. The same certificate, with the same number, is restored as valid.
- A campus can only issue to students who have reached the minimum. Exceptions for students below it can only be made by NSDP.
Revoking a certificate
- CampusCampus
Campus chooses Revoke
Confirm in the dialog. Use this when a certificate was issued in error, for example after a register correction.
- SystemSystem
Stop / exit: Certificate is withdrawn
The student can no longer download it.
- System
Verification shows it as revoked
Anyone who checks the certificate number sees Certificate revoked with the date.
- System
Good outcome: Automatic runs leave it alone
A revoked certificate is never re-issued automatically. Only an explicit Re-issue restores it.
Certificate statuses
- issuedValid. It can be viewed, downloaded and verified.
- revokedWithdrawn. It verifies as revoked; re-issue it from the Eligible tab if the student still meets the minimum.
- Not issuedThe student has no certificate for this batch yet.
Sharing and verification
Every certificate carries a number such as CERT-XXXXXXXX-XXXXXX. Anyone can check it on the school website at /verify/ followed by the number, without signing in. The page shows the holder, programme, batch, campus, school and dates, never contact details or attendance.
While the campus is suspended
You can review and download certificates, but not issue, re-issue or revoke them. The page shows This campus is suspended.

FAQ
Why is there no Close batch & issue button?
Certificates are not enabled for this programme, certificates are turned off for the school, or the campus is suspended.
The page says no certificate design is set up.
NSDP needs to set up a certificate design for the programme, the campus or the school. Contact NSDP.
Can a student check their certificate is genuine?
Yes. Every certificate has a number that anyone can check on the verification page. See Verifying a certificate.
A student is just below the minimum for a good reason.
A campus can't issue below the minimum. Ask NSDP; you can raise a dispute in the Attendance category with the details.
Where are certificates for recorded courses?
This page covers in-person batch certificates. A campus has no recorded courses of its own. On a recorded course NSDP attached to your campus, certificates are earned by finishing the course; the Certificates figure on the course's Students tab counts them for the students your campus gave it to.
