From a recorded course's Students tab you can open any enrolled student's record: one page with their account, their enrolment in this course and how far they have got. It is read-only.

What the record shows

Fields on this form

Account
Full name, Student ID and whether the account is active.
Enrolment
Status (Enrolled, Completed, Dropped, Payment pending…), the date they enrolled, the date they completed, and Access ends (or No end date).
Course progress
The share of the course completed, lessons marked done and sections finished.
Last progress saved
When their enrolment record last changed. Usually a lesson or quiz save, but an administrator's change (for example a new access end date) also updates it.

Previewing your course as a student

  1. Step 1: Open the course and choose Preview as student

In the course workspace header (or Preview as a student in the course list's menu). It opens in a new tab in the student course player. Preview details next to it shows the course page a visitor reads before enrolling.

  2. Step 2: Move through the lessons

You see the lessons, materials and quizzes the way an enrolled student does. Nothing you do in the preview is recorded as a real student's progress.

  3. Step 3: Close the tab to return

Your workspace stays open in the original tab.

Why is a student I expect missing from the Students tab?

The tab lists students enrolled in the course directly. Someone with access through a programme or bundle may not appear there.

Can I reset a student's progress?

No. Ask the school's administrators; they manage enrolments.
