Getting started

The NSDP Trainer Hub

Free, self-paced courses from NSDP on how to work with us: creating courses, live Zoom classes, on-campus batches, attendance, class work, certificates, payouts and quality standards. Finish a course to earn a Trainer Hub certificate.

The Trainer Hub is NSDP's own training for the people who teach with us. Instructors, campus admins and campus teachers each see the courses NSDP set for them. The courses are free and never appear in the store or to students.

Which courses you see

  • A course is set for instructors, campus admins, campus teachers, or several of them. An instructor linked to a campus sees the courses for instructors and for campus teachers.
  • Required courses come first. Some have a due date: a number of days after you joined NSDP, or after the course was published if that came later.
  • Overdue required courses are marked in red, and NSDP may email you a reminder.
  • Your dashboard has a Trainer Hub card with the next course to finish and a Continue button.

Taking a course

  1. Step 1: Open the course

Press Start (or Continue). The player opens on the first lesson you have not finished.

  2. Step 2: Work through the lessons

A video lesson is done once you have watched most of it, or press Mark as done. Reading lessons are done with Mark as done.

  3. Step 3: Pass the quizzes

A quiz lesson is done only when you reach its pass mark. You can try again as often as you need; your best result counts.

  4. Step 4: Get your certificate

When the last lesson is done the course is complete. Your certificate is issued straight away and emailed to you. Open it from the course or the Trainer Hub list.

Your Trainer Hub certificate

Each certificate has its own number. Anyone can check it on the public verification page. Instructors who hold one show NSDP Certified Trainer on their public teacher profile on the NSDP website.

Do I pay for Trainer Hub courses?

No. They are free and do not affect your earnings, your courses or your students.

What if NSDP adds lessons after I finish?

Your completion and certificate stay. New lessons show in the course for you to watch.

I cannot see a course a colleague has.

Courses are set per audience. A campus admin and an instructor may see different courses.
