Talking to a person on NSDP's team in the chat

Ask for a person in the NSDP Rehnuma chat and a member of NSDP's help desk can join the same chat and reply to you there. If you are away, we email you a link back to the chat.

NSDP Rehnuma is NSDP's own AI assistant. Whenever you want a person, press Talk to a person at the top of the chat or ask in the chat: a member of NSDP's help desk team can join that same chat and answer you there.

  1. You

    You ask for a person

"I want to talk to a human", "agent se baat karni hai", "insaan se baat karwa dein" or "I have a complaint".

  2. Rehnuma

    Ticket number

The chat confirms your request with a ticket number. Rehnuma keeps helping while you wait.

  3. NSDP team

    Our team joins

"Sara from NSDP Help Desk joined the chat." From now on Rehnuma is quiet and your messages go to Sara.

  4. NSDP team

    Replies in the chat

Team replies have the person's name and an NSDP team badge. Reply back in the same box.

  5. Good outcome: Back to Rehnuma or closed

The team member hands the chat back to Rehnuma, or closes it when your question is solved.

While you wait

  • Keep the chat open: a reply appears by itself within a few seconds of being sent. You can close it too: the team's reply is kept in the chat.
  • If you are not in the chat when the team replies, we email you (at most once every 15 minutes) with an Open the chat button that brings you back to it.
  • Our team works Monday to Saturday, 9 AM to 5 PM. Outside those hours your request waits for the next working day; Rehnuma can still help meanwhile.
  • Never share passwords, OTP codes or card numbers, even with the team: NSDP never asks for them.

What each status means

  • Our team has your requestShown under the chat's name after you ask for a person. Rehnuma still answers.
  • Sara from NSDP Help Desk is in this chatA team member has the chat. Only they answer you now.
  • Our team closed this chatThe question is solved. The chat is read-only: start a new chat if you need anything else.
Is the person in the chat real?

Yes. Replies with a name and the NSDP team badge are written by a member of NSDP's help desk. Replies without it come from Rehnuma, NSDP's AI assistant.

I opened the email on another phone and do not see the reply.

On the website, open Previous chats and verify your email with the 6-digit code; the chat then shows on that phone too. In your panel, just sign in.

The chat was closed but I still have a question.

Start a new chat and ask again, or ask for a person again. Your earlier chat stays under Previous chats.
