Raising a dispute as a campus

When something about a batch, a register, a teacher, a student, your profile or a payout needs NSDP administration to settle it, open a dispute and keep the whole conversation in one place.

A dispute is a written case between your campus and NSDP administration. Use it for anything that needs a decision or a correction from NSDP, so the facts, replies and outcome stay on record. For a quick question, Contact NSDP by email is enough.

The Disputes page

  • The figures at the top: All disputes since the campus joined, Open (with how many are under review by NSDP), Awaiting your reply (NSDP answered last) and Resolved (with how many are closed). Choose a figure to filter the list.
  • Two lists, Open and Resolved, also reachable from the sidebar. Open holds Open and Under review cases; Resolved holds Resolved and Closed ones.
  • Search by subject or description, and filter by status, category and priority.
  • Each row shows the subject, number of messages, last update, the linked batch, the category, priority and status. Raised by NSDP marks a case NSDP opened with your campus; Your reply needed marks a case where NSDP answered last.

Opening a dispute

  1. Step 1: Go to Disputes and choose Open a dispute

The toolbar's New → Open a dispute goes to the same form.

Sign in to open this screen
  2. Step 2: Pick a category

Choose the closest fit from the list below. The form shows a one-line hint for the category you pick.

  3. Step 3: Set the priority

Normal suits most cases. High is for classes or payments affected right now.

  4. Step 4: Link a batch if it is about one

Only batches held at your campus are listed. Leave it as Not about a particular batch otherwise.

  5. Step 5: Write a subject and a description

Say what happened, when, who was involved and what outcome you need.

  6. Step 6: Add images (optional)

Choose Add images or drag pictures into the box: screenshots or photos, for example of a paper register. PNG, JPG or WebP, up to 5 MB each and 5 per message. Remove a thumbnail with its ✕ before you send.

  7. Step 7: Choose Open dispute

The dispute opens and your description becomes the first message of the conversation.

  • The Details panel lists the category, priority, linked batch, linked payout request, last activity and the date it was settled.

Disputes raised by NSDP

NSDP administration can also open a dispute with your campus, for example about a batch or a payout. It appears in your list marked Raised by NSDP, and its details say Opened … by NSDP administration. Reply in the thread as you would on your own dispute.

While the campus is suspended

You can read every dispute, but you can't open new ones, reply or close them. The page shows This campus is suspended and the buttons are locked.
