Verifying your identity and bank account

Your account opens at once, but before NSDP reviews your courses and pays your earnings it checks who you are. What to upload, the automatic checks, why the bank account must be in your own (or your institution's) name, and what happens after you submit.

Instructor and campus accounts open as soon as you sign up on the NSDP website. Two things are still checked by NSDP by hand: every course or class before students see it, and your identity. Your identity is checked once, on the Verification page in the menu.

What you upload

PartInstructorCampus
PersonYour identity document (CNIC, or NICOP, POC or passport if you live outside Pakistan), its photos and a selfie holding it.The same, for the owner of the institution or the person the owner authorised.
Institution—Registered name, how it is registered (company, trust, sole proprietor…), the registration certificate, the premises ownership deed or rent agreement, and an authority letter if you are not the owner.
Bank accountAn account in your own name: bank, IBAN, account title and a cheque leaf, bank letter or statement. An account in the institution's registered name (or the owner's), with the same proof.

The automatic checks

As you fill in the form, a panel beside it checks your details. A red item must be fixed before you can submit; an amber one is submitted but looked at closely by NSDP.

  • A CNIC, NICOP or POC has 13 digits, and its last digit matches the gender (odd for men, even for women). A passport number is 6 to 15 letters and digits, with its issuing country.
  • You are 18 or older, and the document has not expired.
  • The document is not already verified for another person on NSDP. Your own other panels (same email) never count as "another account".
  • The IBAN is a valid Pakistani IBAN (24 characters, its check digits add up), and the bank it belongs to matches the bank you chose. The Bank list has every bank in Pakistan: commercial, Islamic, government and provincial, foreign, microfinance (including Easypaisa and JazzCash accounts) and digital accounts such as SadaPay and NayaPay. Typing a Pakistani IBAN picks the bank for you.
  • The account title matches the name on your document (or, for a campus, the institution's registered name).
  • Every required photo and document is attached.

After you submit

What each status means

  • Not submittedFill in the form and choose Submit to NSDP. Save draft keeps your progress.
  • Waiting for NSDPYou can already send courses and classes for review. NSDP approves them only once your identity is verified. The form is locked while NSDP checks it.
  • VerifiedWithdrawals open, to the verified bank account only. The details are locked; to change them use Request a change.
  • Verified · change with NSDPYou asked to change your details or bank. Until NSDP approves, everything keeps using the details approved before, and payouts keep going to the approved bank account.
  • Verified · change returnedNSDP did not accept the change; its note says why. Your approved details and bank still apply. Correct the change and send it again.
  • Changes neededNSDP's note says what to correct. Fix it and submit again.

Sending a course for review

If you choose Submit for review before your identity is submitted, the portal tells you what is missing. Instructors also need a profile photo, a headline and a bio of at least 50 characters on Profile setup, because students see them on your course pages.

Can earnings go to a family member's account?

No. The account must be in your own name, or for a campus in the institution's or the owner's name. This protects you and the students' fees.

How do I change my bank account?

On Verification, choose Request a change, update the bank part with a new proof, and choose Send the change to NSDP. Payouts keep going to your approved account meanwhile; once NSDP approves, the new account is used everywhere (instructor and affiliate). Past payouts keep showing the account they went to.

I verified as an affiliate. Do I verify again as an instructor?

No. One verification per person counts for all your panels with the same email. Open Verification in your instructor panel: it shows the same, already verified record.

My CNIC has no expiry date.

Leave the expiry date empty. The check shows amber and NSDP confirms it from the photo.

I live outside Pakistan. Can I verify?

Yes. Choose NICOP, POC or Passport instead of CNIC (a passport needs only its photo page and the issuing country). For payouts, use a Pakistani account such as Roshan Digital, or a bank abroad: enter its IBAN, or the account number with the bank's SWIFT code.
