Announcements and events for your students

Post announcements to all your students or chosen batches (in their portal and by email), and hold open houses, workshops and job fairs with RSVPs, a waitlist, a CSV of who is coming and a reminder the day before. Public events also appear on the NSDP website once NSDP approves them.

Two screens under Students in the menu keep your students informed: Announcements for news, and Events for things they come to. Everything is limited to your own campus and its students.

Posting an announcement

  1. Step 1: Open Announcements

    Under Students in the menu.

Sign in to open this screen
  2. Step 2: Write it

A short title and the message (5 to 4,000 characters). Line breaks are kept.

  3. Step 3: Choose who gets it

All my students (everyone holding a seat in a batch at your campus) or Chosen batches (up to 20).

  4. Step 4: Email it too

On by default: each student is emailed once. Untick it to show it only in the portal.

  • Students read it under Campus news & events in their portal.
  • Deleting an announcement removes it from the portal; emails already sent stay sent.
  • At most 2,000 students are emailed for one announcement; every student still sees it in the portal.
