Course quality score

How the 0-100 quality score of each recorded course and live or on-campus class is worked out, item by item with its points, what “not enough data yet” means, and how to raise the score.

Every course and class gets a score from 0 to 100 from a public checklist. You see it on Teaching → Course quality (weakest first) and as a card on each course's Setup tab, with the changes worth the most points. Administrators see every score in the school.

When the score updates

  • When you change the course or class: the next time you open its page or the Course quality list.
  • Every day, for the rating and completion rate.
  • At once, when you choose Check again now on the Course quality page.

Some items depend on class work and recordings, which do not change the class itself; those are picked up by the daily update or Check again now.
